Interesting yes, but alternative keyboard layouts aren't the answer. New, better ways of interracting with computers really need to be thought up so non-standard layouts can become a non-issue.

Oh, I dunno about that; keyboard input is still an extraordinarily quick way of entering text and more efficient than just about any other method. It'll be around as long as text is around, and that'll be for a long time.

It will be along for a while, that is true. But, as soon as some way to read brain impulses and translate them into machine code, much of keyboarding will die out. The only reason for a few keyboard to still be around is to provide a very last resourt option incase any system malfunctions crash and normal brain reading wont work. Keyboards would be very scarce and no one would be a pro at it as are most people now a-days

Asetion is no longer available. The Colemak keyboard layout replaces it.
