[mefi-projects] #032 24-Feb-2002

No, you didn't miss it last week, I didn't send a mefi-projects mailing.  I
was relaxing for President's day. Apologies to Josh Benton, who sent in an
announcement that he was going to be blogging from Salt Lake City on his
site crabwalk.com, as he was there covering the Winter Olympics for the
Dallas Morning News. Well, it would have been timely last week if I had
been on the stick. Sorry Josh. Check out his site anyway, it's got a lot
of Olympic memories now (at least one of which includes the word "rawks").

Now on with the rest, which are, I hope, still somewhat relevant:

MANOVERBOARD
<http://www.manoverboard.com/>
    Founded in the early days of 1998, MANOVERBOARD features artists and
writers of extreme vision. It does not, however, condone their offerings.
Newly re-designed, the site is now filled with a fresh, boring monologue in
the Verdana font by Andrew Boardman, Ed., in his Deckchairs on the Titanic
area.

Syndic8
<http://www.syndic8.com>
    Syndic8 lists over 4000 syndicated news feeds on a huge variety of
topics. Each feed is polled 4 times daily; complete headline history and
site statistics are maintained. We also have a great collection of
syndication documents and tools. Join for free, and help build and maintain
the collection.

Headline Viewer
<http://www.headlineviewer.com>
    Headline Viewer is a desktop news client for Windows-based systems.
Over 900 distinct news sources are presented in a clean and organized
format. Background loading and keyboard navigation make it easy to quickly
read thousands of headlines. There's a complete online help system, and two
professionally designed skins.  Free download.
